Going to college is a big decision. There are so many things to consider. Between which colleges to apply to and deciding whether or not to accept, there are many factors to consider. You might already know it’ll open more opportunities to make more money. But let’s not only talk about what it can do for your career, and let’s talk about what it can do for you!

Why go to college?

The person most impacted by your college education is you. You should be the one to get the most out of it. When you’re deciding what to go to college for, you should take into consideration you interest.

As you work toward a college degree, you will begin developing a holistic knowledge of a subject. You’ll be immersed in the world around your interest that you’ll discover all aspects of what you want to learn. If the subject you will be studying is something you’re passionate about, your passion will keep you engaged and more excited to learn.

Something people might not tell you about is the feeling you get with your diploma in hand. It is one of the most gratifying things you can earn. It represents the culmination of all your hard work. It’s something you will have earned for yourself.
