The career outlook for Engineering Technology graduates is very promising as it is demanding and highly paid. One of the strengths of an education in engineering technology is the diverse curriculum, which provides graduates with a wide variety of technical and management skills as well as problem-solving techniques. This diversity makes a number of career paths available, with the result that the overall demand for industrial engineering technologists remains high. Based on our alumni survey, 95% of our graduates land a job related to the discipline within a year of their graduation.
While most engineering technologists have traditionally gone to work in manufacturing and related industries, an increasing number are being used in other areas including logistics transportation, supply chain, utilities, healthcare, government, and service industries. Our alumni survey indicates majority of our graduates work with local companies. A significant number of graduates work within the US and some of them are employed in overseas.
